A Haverhill man is facing felony charges after allegedly robbing the Verizon GoWireless Store at 345 Main St., Wednesday night.

Isaiah Dotson, 25, of 440 North Ave. Apt. #207, Haverhill was arraigned in Lowell District Court Thursday, charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, intimidation of a witness, larceny over $250 and carrying a firearm without a license.

According to Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan, Dispatch received a call about the robbery at around 8:30 p.m. It was reported that the suspect was armed with a handgun and had fled the store.

According to Sheehan, the lone employee was forced at gunpoint to the rear of the store and was instructed to open the safe.  The suspect stole several cell phones and money.  The victim was not physically injured.

The phones were tracked by GPS as the suspect fled, which led police to the suspect’s location in Lowell. Lowell Police conducted a stop of the vehicle and placed Dotson into custody.  Numerous phones and money were recovered, along with a loaded .380 handgun.

According to Sheehan Dotson appears to be the same suspect who robbed an AT&T store at gunpoint in North Andover on Sept. 4.
