The Gardener Museum Heist, The World’s Most Notorious Art Cons At Tewksbury Library

All events are FREE thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library.  (Film screenings are also co-sponsored by the Tewksbury Lions Club.)  All events are held in the library’s first-floor, air-conditioned Meeting Room.  A book selling and signing will take place after each author event.  There is no obligation to purchase a book.

Fright Night: Film Screening of “Poltergeist (2015)”

Thursday, October 1, 7pm-9pm

Enjoy a screening of one of Hollywood's newest DVD releases -- Poltergeist, a recent remake of the 1982 horror film classic, starring Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt and Kennedi Clements. A family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces must come together to rescue their youngest daughter after the apparitions take her captive. The film is rated PG-13. Friday Night Film Screening of “Spy”

Friday, October 2, 7pm-9pm

Enjoy a screening of one of Hollywood's newest DVD releases -- Spy, an action comedy starring Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne and Jude Law. A desk-bound CIA analyst volunteers to go undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent diabolical global disaster. The film is rated R. Learn JAVA Programming Language

Monday, October 5, 6pm-8pm

In this week’s JAVA programming class, instructor Giuliano Amantini will teach a lesson on structures and objects, including: creating & using structured data types; combining code with a structure; encapsulation, achieving and benefits; Java libraries and documentation; classes, objects and the meaning of static; and working with packages. Bring your own laptop.
