School Committee members Brian Dick, Dennis Francis, Chairman Krissy Polimeno and Jamie Cutelis.
Kristen Polimeno, chairperson of the Tewksbury School Committee, has released the following information relating to the Superintendent of Schools Search Advisory Committee.
The Tewksbury School Committee is in the process of conducting a search for our next Superintendent of Schools. We will be seeking representatives from the Tewksbury community to serve on our Search Advisory Committee, which will be responsible for narrowing the field of superintendent candidates to finalists.
This important task will require that the representatives must commit to the interview schedule. Only the representatives, who can participate in all interviews, will be allowed to take part in the finalist selection.
The Search Advisory Committee will meet with our search advisor, Mike Gilbert from the Massachusetts Association of School Committees, on Monday, December 7, 2015 and possibly Tuesday December 8, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., to review the selection criteria and develop questions for the interviews.
The interviews will take place December 14, 2015 through December 17, 2015. Interviews will be scheduled at 6:00 p.m. each evening and ending no later than 9:45 p.m. Each interview will last one hour with a fifteen-minute break between interviews. The selection of the three to five finalists will be done immediately after the last interview.
Members of the Tewksbury School Committee would like to encourage parents, guardians, and community members to consider serving on the advisory committee. Additional detailed information regarding the Search Advisory Committee will be released soon. We would like to thank you in advance for your interest to serve on the committee.
