28th Annual AppleFest Will Feature Costume Contest, Food, Crafters

Oct 12, 2015 11:40AM ● By Bill Gilman
The 28th Annual AppleFest Craft Fair will be held from 9:00AM to 3:00PM on Saturday, Oct. 31 at Tewksbury Memorial High School located at 320 Pleasant Street in Tewksbury.
This is the fourth year having the fair in the new TMHS. Last year was another recording setting year, and we are on track for another fabulous year.
The crafters are of the highest quality; they have beautiful, unique items offered for sale. As this year’s fair is taking place on the day of Halloween, we are excited to announce a costume contest, with prizes, for children in age groups of: 5 and under; 6 through 13; 14 and over.
The contest will take place at 1:00PM the day of the event. The event will also offer a large selection of delicious food – most of which is donated by local restaurants and businesses. The staple item at AppleFest is, of course, apple crisp!
If you haven’t been before, please consider coming this year. There is something for everyone. Remember the holidays are right around the corner, so start your shopping early! The TMHS Parent Advisory Council (PAC) sponsors this event. Proceeds benefit scholarships for students, enrichment programs, and supplies. It also benefits the All Night Long Graduation event, which is a fun-filled drug and alcohol-free party held for graduates.
