Notes from Tewksbury Memorial High School

Best Buddies held an information session for parents last week and is readying themselves for their first large group event: an inclusive Halloween party at the high school on October 22nd.

The Class of 2016 reports that homecoming was a big success with Bobby Piccolo and Nicole Petherbridge being crowned as homecoming king and queen. Tewksbury apparel forms are still in the works and will be available soon.

SADD will be recognizing teen driving safety week and national red ribbon week during the month of October. They are also planning a new student survey as a way to welcome these students to our school.

Student Council will begin selling breast cancer awareness items next week, and they are beginning to send out fliers for their fall leaf raking services throughout the month of November. This upcoming Friday, the executive board members will attend the Massachusetts Association of Student Councils OfficerShop Conference in which our delegates will learn advanced leadership skills. I will be representing Tewksbury as a state board delegate by presenting a workshop on goal setting at the conference.

National Honor Society recently sent out order forms for their Thanksgiving Day t-shirts being sold for $15 each. See Ms. Puma for more order forms.
