Levins, Petherbridge Honored As October Hats Off Recipients

Tewksbury High seniors Shelby Levins and Aurelie Nicole Petherbridge have been named as the TMHS/Rotary Club Hats Off Award winners for the month of October.

Levins and Petherbridge were honored at a Rotary Club Luncheon at Tewksbury Country Club on Oct. 15.

  • Recipient of numerous Renaissance Gold and Silver Card Awards
  • Maintain Honor Roll
  • SAT Score of 1580

Extra-Curricular Activities:

  • Drama Club Member - Sound Technician and Crew Representative
  •  Tri President of S.A.D.D. at TMHS

Special Achievements:

  • Recipient of Excellence in Sound Design for 2015 Festival Preliminaries
  • Participant in the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild
  • Member of International Thespian Society
  • Recipient of Chapter Select and Audience Choice Award in the Production of “Treasure Island”

Community Service:

  • Volunteer for New England Center for Homeless Veterans
  • Participant in Breast Cancer Fundraiser Walk
  • Participant in Brain Aneurysm Foundation Fundraiser Walk
  • Volunteer as a Sound Technician for DECA Fashion Show

  • Work Experience: Employed as a Sound Tech for the Town of Tewksbury

Nominating faculty member, Mr. Andrew Bellistri states that Shelby has amazing dedication and involvement in S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions)  She also possesses true leadership skills.  Shelby is a positive role model who is very helpful and polite to all in the TMHS community.

Other: I hope to become a math teacher or college professor and own my own cupcake food truck because I also love baking.  I spoke at the town meeting when the new TMHS was voted on and was then involved in the groundbreaking ceremony.

Nominating faculty member, Ms. Dustine Puma states that Aurelie is a genuine, intelligent, and humble young woman with the true TMHS spirit.  Her energy and vitality are present throughout the many clubs, organizations and sports she plays.  She is a natural leader, leading by example.
