Green Pride 38, Silver Pride 18
Green’s powerful running game paced them to victory, with touchdowns from Jason Mitchell, Sean Callahan (2), Ryan Testa, and Jackson Goldman. Goldman also played well on defense, leading the team with 5 flag pulls. Silver had some great runs from Ben Christopher and Kyle Sandberg, while Sean Carroll handled the ball well at quarterback. Cameron Guender and David Benassi executed several reverse runs, while Evan Deleon connected with Jack Rattey for Silver’s first passing touchdown of the season.
Blue Pride 32, Red Pride 18
Red Pride jumped out early in the regular season finale, with running back Quinn Brown taking the first snap to the house for a quick lead. But Blue would score on their next three possessions to take a 20-6 lead heading into the half. In second half action, Red quarterback Zach Hayes connected on a pair of touchdowns to Jack Callahan and Connor Broderick, who made a great catch in the end zone. On the defensive side for the Red Pride, Jason Morris and Luke Montejo came up with some big stops.
Blue made some changes on defense after Red’s quick score that paid off, allowing Michael Carlson to get more than nine flag pulls, while Jimmy Holmes and Drew Nester each nabbed four. Blue’s offensive air attack proved to be too much, with quarterback Drew Rennell hitting three different receivers for touchdowns, connecting with Richie Bongiorno, Justin Magee, and Jack Rennell. Cam Kearney and Michael Parent each broke 45-yard touchdown runs, while Ryan Sorrentino set the tone while running the huddle. Edward Galante represented as Blue captain and showed great leadership from the sidelines.
