Rams, Redmen Roundup: TMHS Field Hockey Team Wraps Up State Tournament Bid

Tewksbury senior field hockey players and their parents on Senior Day.

Field Hockey

Tewksbury 3, Bedford 1

The Tewksbury High field hockey team celebrated Senior Day by knocking off Bedford, 3-1, and clinching a berth in the State Tournament.

Megan Donahue led the Redmen with two goals, with assists going to Allie Couillard and Emily Donahue.

Ally Kelly added an unassisted goal.

Boys Soccer

Billerica 1, Tewksbury 0

The TMHS boys soccer team played MVC D2 champion Billerica tough but fell, 1-0.

Girls Cross Country

Essex Tech 22, Shawsheen Tech 33

Girls Soccer

Billerica 3, Tewksbury 0

The TMHJS girls soccer team stayed close with Billerica (8-3-6) for a half beforethe Indians were able to pull away for the win.


Tewksbury 3, Wilmington 1

The Tewksbury High girls volleyball team improved to 13-3 on the season with a 3-1 win over arch-rival Wilmington.

Set scores were 25-10, 25-11, 24-26, 25-22.

Molly Robertson led the way for the Redmen with 8 kills and 3 blocks. Nora Butler had a strong game with 8 kills and 4 digs. Amanda Rekkbie also played well.

Tewksbury 3, Dracut 0

The Redmen upped their record to 14-3 with a straight set win over Dracut.

Set scores were 25-18, 25-17, 25-11.

Molly Robertson paced the Redmen with 5 kills, 3 aces and 4 digs. Nicole Petherbridge added 8 kills and 3 digs.

Shawsheen Tech 3, Nashoba Tech 0

The Shawsheen Tech volleyball team improved to 16-3 on the season with a straight set win over Nashoba Tech.

Set scores were 25-12, 25-11 and 25-16.

Mikayla Porcaro led the Rams with 12 service points and 2 kills. Lauren Beachy chipped in with 4 kills.
