VIDEO: The Opening Of Wamesit Lanes Is a Family Celebration

Surrounded by civic and business leaders, as well as friends and family, Don MacLaren Sr., Don MacLaren Jr., and Steve Bourgeois celebrated the ribbon cutting ceremony for the long-anticipated Wamesit Lanes Family entertainment Center, this week.
A VIP reception took place on Monday, Nov. 2, with the actual ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
The Grand Opening of the facility is set for Monday, Nov. 9. The facility features 10-pin and candlepin bowling, golf simulators, an arcade and a full restaurant.
Among those in attendance at the festivities were State Rep. Jim Miceli, State Rep. Jim Lyons, Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito and several members of the Tewksbury School Committee and Board of Selectmen, as well as members of the Greater Lowell and Wilmington Chambers of Commerce.
