2016 Dog Licenses Are Now Available At Town Hall

Annie says it's time to get your dog licensed for 2015!

Tewksbury Town Clerk, Denise Graffeo, reminds dog owners that the year 2015 Dog License expires December 31, 2015.  It is that time of the year when all dogs (6 months of age or over) must be licensed.  The license is valid for one calendar year, and must be renewed annually. Dog license renewals are due by March 15th, after which late fees will be assessed.

Licensing fees are as follows:


January 1st - March 15th

March 16th – July 1st

July 2nd – December 31st

A dog owner applying for a license shall be obligated to pay all outstanding dog license fees relating to the past licensing period and any outstanding violation notices.  A current Rabies Certificate as well as a Certificate of Spaying or Neutering must be presented before a dog license may be issued, unless currently on file in this office. 

Please be reminded that the Town Clerk’s Office has recently moved back to our newly renovated Town Hall at 1009 Main Street.  Office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

For your convenience, you may prefer to license your dog by mail.  If licensing by mail, please include:

A self-addressed stamped envelope
