Tewksbury Man Charged In New Hampshire For Assaulting Pregnant Girlfriend

A Tewksbury man is facing charges in New Hampshire after allegedly trying to strangle his pregnant girlfriend.
Michael A. Levesque, 31, was arraigned in Rockingham District Court and charged with second-degree assault, domestic violence-simple assault, and witness tampering.
According to Salem, NH Police, the victim was treated at Holy Family Hospital after the attack, which allegedly took place Dec. 15. Police were called to the hospital to talk to the woman.
Following the interview with the woman, Levesque was arrested and held on $1,000 cash bail.
