Temperatures on Monday are expected to drop to around 19 degrees by noon. The wind will be 8 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 31 mph.
Dozens of schools in  Eastern Mass., cancelled classes Monday, including Tewksbury Public Schools and Shawsheen Tech.
Police are reminding residents that the Winter Parking Ban is in effect and cars parked on public streets will be ticketed and potentially towed.
