Hiltz, Dokos Win Division 2 North Sectional Wrestling Titles

Tewksbury High, led by sophomore Blake Hiltz and senior Brett Dokos, turned in a strong fourth place showing at the Division 2 North Wrestling Championships.
Central Catholic won the event, followed by Beverly and North Andover.
Dokos (30-3) won the sectional championship at 220 pounds, beating John O'Brien of Reading, 5-3, in the title match. Dokos had scored pinfall wins in the semifinasl and quarterfinals.
Hiltz (29-8), the No. 3 seed, won the sectional title at 145 pounds by upsetting top-seed Anthony Blatus of Greater Lowell Tech in the final, 1-0. Hiltz had won technical decisions in the semifinals and quarterfinals and by pinfall in the opening round.
Dyland McAteer placed second for the Redmen at 113, falling to top-seed Ron Rossetti of Greater Lowell in the final, 5-3.
Ryan Bain placed third at 170 pounds. Braeden Hiltz (138), Ryan Sughrue (160) and Mike McInnis (285) each placed fifth.
