Rams, Redmen Roundup: Redmen Girls Slam Haverhill, Two Rams Win State Titles

Division 1 State Championships
Shawsheen's Fusco, Ferri Claim State Titles
Shawsheen's Jake Ferri won his second straight state championship at 106 pounds, routing Andy Richards, 18-7 in the final. It was the first loss of the year for Richards (39-1), while Ferri remained perfect at 44-0.
Joe Fusco claimed the State Championship at 220 pounds with a 5-3 win over Lucien Christian in the title match.
It's the first time in school history that Shawsheen Tech wrestlers have won two state titles.

Girls Basketball

Tewksbury 65, Haverhill 51

Molly Robertson poured in 17 points and Erin Gallella added 16, as Tewksbury slammed Haverhill, 65-51, on Senior Night.
The Redmen blew the game open with a 20-2 run in the second half.
Kirsten Dick chippd in with 15 points for Tewksbury, which ends its regular season with a 14-6 record. The Redmen now wait to find out who their opponent will be in the opening round of the North Sectional Tournament.

Junior Varsity
Tewksbury 53, Haverhill 21
Lexi Brincklow led Tewksbury with 12 points.

Girls Hockey
Winchester 1, Tewksbury/Methuen 0
The loss end the Red Rangers' 19-game unbeaten streak. Tewksbury/Methuen ends its regular season at 16-1-3.

Boys Basketball
Shawsheen Tech 58, Triton 53
The Rams put together a remarkable fourth-quarter comeback, rallying from a 15-point deficit to knock off Triton. Shawsheen Tech ends its regular season at 12-6.
