Election 2016 Endorsement: Johnson Deserves Another Term On Board of Selectmen

To the Editor:

Having worked with Todd Johnson over the past several years, I can enthusiastically recommend him for another term as Selectman in Tewksbury.  Whether I was seeking information as a citizen of the town, requiring action from him as a committee member, or making a presentation with a civic group to support the Rail Trail, Todd has always been welcoming, respectful and encouraging toward me and others.   He takes into account the context of the issue, the impact to the town and citizens, and the need for things to move forward in our community. His professionalism is apparent in all dealings and his questions and comments show a level of both interest and research on topics that come before him. Tewksbury has achieved a degree of transparency and action never before seen, and the strides the town is making with the executive team, our legislators, and state agencies through Todd’s collaboration, is impressive.  He recognizes the town’s financial responsibilities and constraints and has helped guide decisions that are yielding restoration of services to our residents, establishment of clear fiscal policies, and improvement of the town’s bond rating.

Please join me in voting for Todd Johnson for Selectman on April 2nd and keep things moving in a positive direction for Tewksbury.
