Dear Tewksbury Voters,
As the candidates for School Committee bring their campaign to Election Day I would respectfully ask the voters to cast their vote for Krissy Polimeno. The town is fortunate that we have a candidate with not only experience from her upbringing in a family of educators but most importantly from serving the last 6 years as a sitting member of our School Committee.
Krissy has served as Chair of the School Committee and also on numerous subcommittees. She was directly involved with the transition of our current Superintendent when he was hired and recently after several months of dedicated hard work, Krissy and the School Committee will now usher in a new Superintendent. In her tenure she has secured teachers contracts, oversaw the transition of business managers and principals, directly involved with the construction and opening of our new high school, secured funding for improvements to other school facilities and worked diligently for an equitable budget.
Beyond our borders the state has recognized Krissy with an appointment to the Massachusetts All State School Committee. Krissy brings a balanced approach to the school committee, she is not afraid of doing what is in the best interest of all our students at the risk that some of her decisions may not be the popular ones. Her tenacity and drive for a better school system has been backed up by her noted accomplishments over the last 6 years. All while a sitting member she is also raising a family, coached sport teams and helped numerous organizations throughout the town. We need Krissy back for another 3 years and quite frankly should thank her for wanting to continue her mission but most importantly we have to vote for her.
Please join my family and I in casting that vote.
