Election 2016: Candidates For Selectmen, School Committee To Debate Monday

On Monday, March 28, the candidates for Tewksbury Board of Selectmen and School Committee will gather in the auditorium at Town Hall for the only face-to-face debates of the campaign season.
The event is co-sponsored by Your Tewksbury Today and the Lowell Sun.
The candidates for School Committee, incumbent Krissy Polimeno and challengers Keith Sullivan, Arthy Bennett and Erin Knyff, will debate at 6:45 p.m.
The candidates for Board of Selectmen, incumbent Todd Johnson and challengers Rob Rosa and Anne Marie Stronach, will debate at 8 p.m.
The debates are being taped for broadcast on the Tewksbury Education Channel.
Bill Gilman, Publisher and Editor of Your Tewksbury Today and Tom Zuppa, Managing Editor/days of the Lowell Sun, will share moderating duties.
Candidates will be questioned by a local media, with panels including Bruce Coulter, editor of the Tewksbury Advocate, Lisa Kennedy-Cox of the Tewksbury Town Crier, Gilman and Zuppa.
Readers are invited to participate in the debates by submitting questions they would like to have asked by the panel to either the School Committee or Board of Selectmen candidates.
