Tewksbury Residents Arrested On Drug Trafficking Charges

Two Tewksbury residents are facing multiple charges, after being observed allegedly engaging in a drug deal earlier this week.
James Brooks, 39, of 32 Ward St., Tewksbury is charged with trafficking cocaine over 18 grams,
distribution of oxycodone (third or subsequent offense), possession with the intent to distribute oxycodone (third or subsequent offense) and possession of nandrolone decanoate (steroids). Lisa Nocco, 52, of 66 Lake St., Tewksbury is charged with possession of oxycodone and failure to signal.
According to Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan, on Thursday, March 24, TPD detectives observed a drug transaction at 32 Ward St. and conducted a motor vehicle stop of Nocco. Further investigation by the detectives resulted in the recovery of several oxycodone pills.
A short time later, Brooks was placed into custody outside his residence.
Detectives then conducted a search of Brooks' home at 32 Ward St. and were able to recover 18 grams of cocaine, several oxycodone pills, packaging materials and two digital scales.
At the time of his arrest, Brooks was on probation out of Lowell Superior Court.
Brooks and Nocco were arraigned on the new charges at Lowell District Court on Friday.
