Tewksbury School And Town Officials To Meet to Discuss New Elementary School Process

Superintendent of Schools Dr. John O'Connor addresses the Tewksbury School Committee on the "Redmen" issue.

School and Town of Tewksbury Officials will meet on April 12 at 6:30pm at Tewksbury Memorial High School to begin the community-wide dialogue concerning the process of replacing and building new elementary school/s. 

“I am extending an invitation to meet with me and my staff for the purpose of introducing the building process, timeline, procedures, and requirements necessary to secure financial assistance for the project and to begin the discussion on the District’s current and proposed educational facilities," said Dr. John O’Connor, Tewksbury Superintendent of Schools.

In addition to the high school meeting, meetings with the school based Parent Advisory Committees (PAC’s) are being scheduled. PAC meetings already scheduled are: Trahan and Heath Brook on April 5th and Dewing and North Street on April 7. The Townwide PAC will meet on April 11. 

Come to TMHS on April 12 to listen and participate in this exciting process.
