Trips, Classes And 'The Age Of Love' At The Senior Center

The following events are scheduled through the Tewksbury Senior Center.
APRIL 28 – Lexington & Concord Historic Guided Tour, Thu., Apr 28th, includes transportation, tour, lunch at the Colonial Inn, Concord, MA and a stop of Colonial Candies. Call 978-640-4480 or visit the Senior Center for information/sign up.
MAY 19th – Day trip to Well & Ogunquit, Maine – Includes transportation, lunch on your own, and plenty of shop-oppurtunities! Cost is $17
UPDATED: NEW YORK TRIP - 2-DAYS, 1 NIGHT STAY – Day 1; THE BOSTON RED SOX VS The New York YANKEES – Yankee Stadium; watch pre-game warm-ups then 4:05pm game from Reserved Main Level Seats. Sheraton Hotel on the Hudson w/plenty of shops/dining available. Day 2 – Free time in New York City to enjoy what the city has to offer. Saturday-Sunday, July 16th– July 17th.
The Age of Love –Viewers of all ages encouraged to attend as the film opens up a dialogue about love and aging. Sat., May 14 at 2:00pm-3:30pm, Q&A with film director Steven Loring – This event is FREE and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. OIL PAINTING CLASS – 8 Week Course, $75.00, Thursdays, April 7 to May 26, 1-3:00pm, Call or come by to sign-up, 978-640-4480.
EVENING CLASS Fit for All - Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5pm to 6pm - Classes include cardio, stretching, strength training, yoga and ends with candle light meditation so that you can go home relaxed and get a good night’s sleep. The cost is $3 per class, cash or check. Participants must bring their own yoga mats.
SPRING SPEAKER SERIES beginning in April-May held at the Senior Center. Topics to include:
The Homestead Act, learn how to protect your assets; presentation and Q&A – Thurs, May 5 from 1:00 to 2:00pm
Identity Theft & Being Safe On-line, April 21st at 10:00am
Hiring Home Improvement Contractors and more; May 5 at 10:00am
