Tewksbury Youngsters Invited To Participate In Ultimate Frisbee Camp

If you have never played Ultimate Frisbee but would like to learn, clinics are being held this summer through the Lexington Rec Department. Open to kids from all communities, the Boston Ultimate Disc Association ( BUDA) is running youth leagues that meet two nights per week. Kids can learn to throw, defend, catch and all other aspects of the game.  Sneakers or cleats are fine and the game is co-ed.  Ages 10-19 are welcomed and sign ups are handled through the Lexington Rec page. Whether your child is in elementary school or a high schooler looking to get on a travel team, this program is the best way to get the skills needed and have fun. Ultimate is a great way to get some exercise and learn the spirit of the game. You don’t need to be a super athlete to enjoy the sport. Teams benefit from all different strengths whether running, catching, or defending. Find out more at www.buda.org.
