UFO Wrestling To Invade Tewksbury Elks Club For Hospital Fundraiser

UFO Wrestling comes to Tewksbury on June 17.
On Friday, June 17, UFO Wrestling will once again invade the Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks Club, 777 South St. for a night of family fun entertainment.
The bell sounds at 7 p.m. Tickets at $15 apiece, with 100 percent of the proceeds to benefit Boston Children's Hospital.
This is the 5th year UFO Wrestling has put on a fundraising show in Tewksbury. The event is organized locally by Heather Estee, whose daughter, Paige Carpenter, is a former patient at Children's Hospital."Me and my daughter Paige are huge WWE fans and we started a few years ago looking for a new fundraiser for Children's Hospital. That was when we ran into a friend, Pat Dillon, at a wrestling event. Pat runs UFO Wrestling and that is how it all got started." said Estee, who has organized annual fundfaisers for the hospital for 13 years.
"We have raised over #25,000 for the hospital and event is called "The Miles for Miracles, which is held in Somerville. It's a 7-mile walk that Paige and I do," she said.
Some of the wrestlers signed to appear this year include:
- Lizzie Raze, a Tewksbury Fan Favorite
- Terra Calaway
- Johnny Howl, making his UFO debut
- The Masshole Mike McCarthy
- Cam Zigami a New Hampshire native who is currently stating on the FOX TV show "American Grit" featuring WWE's John Cena
- Bruiser Schmidt
- "Grindhouse"Evan Siks
- Jeff Cannonball
There will be pizza and snacks for sale, as well as a cash bar. There will also be a raffle with many awesome prizes given away.
"This is a family fun event, all ages welcome.," said Estee. "Even if your not a wrestling fan, this is a great cause and tons of fun."
Tickets for the show can be purchased in advance (which is encouraged) by calling Estee at 978-771-1446. Tickets may be available at the door but show has sold out each of the last two years.
