The John F. Ryan Elementary School Art Club recently presented the Tewksbury Habitat Build organization with a check for $115. The non-profit’s goal is to improve affordable housing opportunities within Tewksbury. The Habitat Build completed its first home in Tewksbury earlier this year.

The students sold the hand crafted pins to their peers during lunch period for $1.00 each. The Student Ambassadors are led by Sixth grade social studies teacher Kathleen Anderson and Assistant Principal Bill Hart. Melissa Lane leads the art club .The club has 30 students who worked for six weeks on the pins. To learn more about the Tewksbury Habitat Build visit
