Two men are facing multiple drug charges after being arrested this week by Tewksbury Police Detectives.

Jeremy Gable, 28, of 258 Middlesex St., North Andover is charged with distribution of a Class E substance (gabapentin), possession with intent to distribute a Class E substance (gabapentin), unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop for police.

Joseph Gallant, 28, of 6 Democracy Drive, Amesbury was charged with possession of a Class B substance (buprenorphine) and possession of a Class E substance (gabapentin).

The arrests came as the result of an incident that took place on Monday, June 20. According to Chief Timothy Sheehan, Detectives observed a transaction on Andover Street and conducted an investigation.  The investigation revealed that Gable not only sold pills to Gallant, but that he possessed additional pills. Initially, Gable did not stop for police when signaled.

Both were arraigned on June 21 at Lowell District Court.
