Board Of Selectmen Announces Committee Appointments, Vacancies Still Remain

The Board of Selectmen recently appointed several residents to open seats on a number of committees and boards. However, selectmen stressed that there are still numerous vacancies to residents looking for ways to get involved with their community.
At its June 21 meeting, Selectmen made the following appointments:
Cable Advisory Committee (new) -- Erin Knyff, Jayne Miller, Donna Higgins. There are still two vacancies for this committee.
Conservation Commission -- Patrick Holland was selected from among four candidates interviewed, to fill a term to expire on June 30, 2018.
Council on Aging -- Linda Lane and Lynn Murphy were appointed to three-year terms, to expire June 30, 2019. There still vacancies on the council to be appointed by the chair.
Open Space Committee -- Jayne Miller, Paige Impink, Bruce Schick, Karin Theodoros were appointed to one-year terms expiring June 30, 2017.
Public Events And Celebrations Committee -- Cheryl Gay, Elaine M. Krauss, Erin Knyff, Julie Bonavita, Moira Gray were appointed for one-year terms expiring June 30, 2017.
In addition, Atty. Kevin Feeley was re-appointed Town Counsel and Atty. Charles Zaroulis was re-appointed Senior Town Counsel.
