Hundreds Of Golf Balls Dropped, One Lands In The Cup At Tewksbury Lions Fundraiser

Joe Lyons was the big winner last week at the Tewksbury Lions Club Golf Ball Drop at Strongwater Farm.
Luons won $1000 when the ball with his number on it was the only one to drop right into the hole. See the video of the event below, recorded by Vance Winchell.
The golf ball drop raised $2700 for the Lions.
Earlier in the day, the Lions held their annual Golf Tournament. Altogether, about $11,000 was raised that day, which will be used for the Tewksbury Lions various charities including Tewksbury Community Food Pantry and to increase the Lions Scholarship awards in the spring as well as increase their onations to Eye Research.
Up next for the Lions -- plans are underway for the Lions to team with the Sons of Italy to have a Spaghetti Supper at Tewksbury Country Club on Tuesday October 25.Monies will go to The Tewksbury Food Pantry.
