Tewksbury Community of Artists Hosts Open Meeting
Tewksbury Community of Artists TCA
The Tewksbury Community of Artists will be hosting an open
meeting on Tuesday February 7, 2017 from 7:00PM-8:30PM at the
Tewksbury Public Library, upstairs in the Trustees Room. This is a great opportunity to meet some current members and find out about what we have to offer.
The public is welcome and local artists are encouraged to come and learn more about our organization.
We will be discussing our spring art show, open positions within the organization, and activities for 2017.
The Tewksbury Community of Artists is actively seeking new members, volunteers, and artists to participate in our art shows.
Check out the TCA’s website for details on becoming a member, and follow us on Facebook at "Tewksbury Community of Artists.” Contact Chairperson Jeannette Waugh at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about the TCA.
About the Tewksbury Community of Artists
Established in 1993, the Tewksbury Community of Artists has been a group of talented members that range from young adults to seniors and practice all forms of art. They live in all parts of New England. The Tewksbury Community of Artists is funded by dues, donations and in part by the Tewksbury Local Council (Massachusetts State Cultural Council).
Our Group has had demonstrations of various art forms and also workshops which have been advertised and open to the public. Annually, the Tewksbury of Community of Artists has a Members Only Show where members can display, demonstrate and sell their art. Senior high school students can also participate for a chance to receive one of three scholarships.
Each Fall, the Group has an Annual Fall Festival. Participants in this event include students from all the schools in Tewksbury, members, and non-members. Since the Annual Art Festival incorporates students and any other artist, it is one of the greatest cultural events of the Town. There are always light refreshments and a chance to meet the artists.
