My name is Joe Cobuccio and I am running for a seat on the Planning Board this April 1st, 2017. I am a Tewksbury resident for the past 13 years and I am currently serving on the Public and Community Events Committee for the town.
This amazing experience has led me to be more involved in the Tewksbury community. During this time, I have had the privilege to meet, work with, and become close with many of the key committee and board members of Tewksbury. To whom we owe the town’s success, from selectmen to fellow committee members that have selected me to be their candidate.
My main motivation is to see through the growth of Tewksbury with preserving the historical look and maintaining the cordial atmosphere of our great town. I want a town that has the best interests for us now and more importantly for the future of our kids. This past September as my fiancé and I enrolled our daughter into the Tewksbury school system, following her many cousins and family members that were raised here in Tewksbury; I realized how important the impact of our decisions today are and how the decisions will greatly impact every one of those children.
We hope our children love, respect, and want to stay in our community to raise their families proudly. My background in plumbing and construction give me a solid understanding of the process that is put into effect with the development and growth of both residential and commercial projects. I have always been the kind of person to get involved; volunteer my time to organizations and special events to maximize their success and to assist them in reaching goals.
As I ask you for your vote in this upcoming election, I need your help to put me in the driver’s seat; to be your voice for what our town needs, to fulfill your wants by listening to you, and to ensure the planning and regulation for the future of Tewksbury over these next 5 years. As your elected candidate for the Tewksbury Planning Board, I will have the town and its people’s interest first and foremost, always.
Thank you for your time and I hope to have your vote this April 1st, 2017.
