RTN Federal Credit Union
RTN Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, owned by and operated for, members. We are dedicated to helping our members achieve their financial goals by offering high-quality products and services, access to financial education and personal attention to each member's needs.
Along with our commitment to our members' financial needs, we have a social mission, and are committed to the communities we serve. We support many local community projects and initiatives, and work collaboratively with our communities through financial support and volunteerism. Our signature fundraising event is "Walk Home," an annual 5K benefit walk that raises funds for Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless (MCH). Since its inception in 2011, Walk Home has raised more than $140,000 for the thousands of families and individuals who experience homelessness in Massachusetts each year.
Founded in 1945, RTN is one of the largest credit unions in Massachusetts, with $860 million in assets, close to 50,000 members and community branches in Amesbury, Brookline, Danvers, Dorchester, Hudson, Lawrence (in Lawrence General Hospital), Marlborough, Tewksbury (at 345 Main Street), Waltham and Worcester.
Membership is open to employees, students, members and volunteers, and their families, through more than 600 sponsor groups. Employers who partner with us include Raytheon Company, Osram/Ledvance, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Lawrence General Hospital.
All deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) to at least $250,000. IRA funds are separately insured to $250,000. All funds in excess of NCUA limits are insured in full by the Massachusetts Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC).
