Children’s Theatre Workshop Presents Les Miserables

Aug 03, 2017 05:06AM ● By Paige Impink
Children’s Theatre Workshop's Summerstock 2017, a two week summer program for high schoolers, proudly presents Les Miserables - School Edition.  Les Miserables is based in 19th century France. Jean Valjean, who for decades has been hunted by the ruthless policeman Javert after breaking parole, agrees to care for a factory worker’s daughter. The decision changes their lives forever.

All the performers are high school students from Wilmington, Tewksbury and surrounding towns.  The performances will be on Friday, August 4th at 7 pm and Saturday, August 5th at 1pm and 7pm at Methuen High School.  Tickets are $15 adults and $10 students and under. A great way to see youth actors, actresses, singers and stage crews work their magic. An ideal way to introduce children and grandchildren to theatre without traveling to Boston. Free parking.

The Children’s Theatre Workshop is a non-profit organization dedicated to building self–esteem in kids and instilling a lifelong love of theatre.
