Tewksbury Woman Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

On August 11, 2017 the Tewksbury Police Department arrested Karen Salvaggio, 37, of 41 Maureen Dr., Tewksbury for possession with the intent to distribute a Class A substance (heroin), two counts of possession of a Class B substance (hydrocodone and oxycodone), failure to use a turn signal and speeding.
Detectives conducted an investigation into drug activity on Maureen Drive and were able to identify Salvaggio as a person involved. During surveillance Detectives observed what they believed to be a drug transaction and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Salvaggio was subsequently arrested.
Salvaggio was arraigned at Lowell District Court on Aug. 14..
