Each summer, just before the start of the school year, the Trahan/Heathbrook Parent Advisory Council hosts "playground socials" at each of the schools.

The socials are a chance for families to get to know each other and to spruce up the playgrounds in preparation of the 1st Day of School.
So, when vandals did significant damage to the Trahan School playground recently, parents, students and staff were heartbroken and angry.
Tewksbury Police are also angry and they have made finding the culprits a priority.
Tuesday, the TPD posted photos of some of the damage on their social media pages (see below), along with this plea, asking the public for help.
Please call if you have any info on who is damaging the Trahan School playground. We would really like to introduce ourselves.
