A Burlington teen, charged in a motor vehicle crash that claimed the life of an off-duty Somerville cop, is facing new charges.
Burlington Police Chief Michael Kent reports that Michael Ricci, 18, was arrested on a warrant for violation of bail conditions.

Ricci was arrested without incident at his home in Burlington on Tuesday afternoon. He was wanted out of Lowell Juvenile Court for a warrant due to a violation of bail condition.
Ricci had been arrested Sunday, when his car collided with a motorcycle ridden by Officer Louis Remigio, on I-95  in North Hampton, NH. Remigio, a resident of Tewksbury, died Monday night from his injuries.
According to investigators, Remigio was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle along Interstate 95, when he was struck, head-on, by a 2013 Mercedes C300 driven by Ricci.
Ricci was allegedly racing other vehicles on the southbound side of highway, crossed over the median into the northbound side and struck Remigio.
Ricci, who was not injured in the crash, was arrested and originally charged with felony reckless endangerment. However, those charges are likely to be upgraded following Remigio's death. He is schedule to appear in court on Friday.

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
