Veterans Day is actually Saturday, Nov. 11 BUT, Friday, Nov. 10 is the legal Federal Holiday.

Here's the list of what is open and closed on Friday, Nov. 10, to mark Veterans Day.

Open:

  • Restaurants
  • BANKS are open Friday
  • Bars/Taverns
  • Retail Stores
  • Supermarkets
  • Convenience stores
  • There IS mail delivery Friday
  • It would be a good idea to call ahead before heading to any of the businesses listed above, as many of them may be operating on a Sunday schedule.
  • Trash and Recycling Pickup -- No changes this week.
Closed:
  • Town Hall and all¬†municipal offices
  • Public Schools
  • Private Schools
  • Public Library
