GU12-4 Tewksbury 6 vs Burlington 0
Another beautiful Saturday for the 12-4 girls to take the field against Burlington. The first few minutes were back and forth up and down the field. Tewksbury struck first at the 6 minute mark when Gianna Ausiello got the ball to Kelli Anderson. Kelli boomed the ball past the goalie to put Tewksbury up 1-0. Minutes later Kennedy Pereira took control of the ball and fed it to Elena Lochiatto who snuck the ball in the close corner of the net for a 2-0 Tewksbury lead. Burlington put a few drives together but Gabby Couillard and Maya Madera were able to limit the shots on net. Sara Rivard made the saves and quickly got the ball out to her teammates. Late in the half, Delia Conte scored with Rachel Lochiatto and Emalee Boyce assisting with sharp passes. This put Tewksbury up 3-0 to end the first half. The second half was dominated by Tewksbury. Erin Costello found open Ani Nazarian who got off a quick shot to score her first goal of the season and put Tewksbury up 4-0. Sabrina Grimes and Maya Madera kept the Burlington goalie busy with some impressive shots. Gabby Couillard found a wide open Erin Costello who took the ball down field and blasted the ball into the net to put the Tewksbury girls up 5-0. Sara Rivard displayed fancy footwork drilling past the Burlington defense. After sending the ball into the middle of the field, Tewksbury had many shots but it was Erin Costello again, who sent the ball to the back of the net when she got the rebound from the Burlington goalie to put the girls up 6-0. Burlington didn't give up and had a few bursts downfield at the end of the game, but Delia Conte and Gabby Couillard made it difficult for Burlington to get the ball on Kelli Anderson in net. Tewksbury won 6-0. They are now 6-0-1 heading into the last 2 games of the season. Next week Tewksbury will host Billerica at Frasca Field.

GU10-5 Tewksbury 3 vs Chelmsford 1
Tewksbury faced off against Chelmsford this week. After finding themselves behind 1-0, Tewksbury battled back and Brooke Marano scored just before the end of the first half. Two more goals in the second half scored by Samantha Bakke and Lila Areias combined with fantastic Goal tending by Jane Garabedian led the Tewksbury girls to achieve their 6th victory this season, guaranteeing them a 2nd place or better finish in MYSL division 5B with two games still left to play!
