Tewksbury Police Nab Suspect In Vehicle Break-ins

Edward Doyle was arrested for a series of vehicle break-ins.

On December 4, 2017 the Tewksbury Police Department arrested Edward Doyle, 58, homeless, for five counts of breaking into a motor vehicle, larceny over $250 and larceny under $250.  

Officers noticed Doyle walking at the corner of Rogers St. and Whipple Rd. at 2:16AM.  When they approached him and conducted an inquiry they were able to uncover that several motor vehicles were broken into on Pike Street and Rogers St. prior to anyone noticing.  Some of the items taken were a cell phone and money.  He gained access through unlocked vehicles.  

Doyle was arraigned Monday in at Lowell District Court.
