Dump Truck Damages Home, Driver Injured

 (Editor's note: The following information was released by the Tewksbury Police Department.)

On Sunday, Dec. 11, approximately 3:15 p.m. the Tewksbury Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a 1998 Mac Dump Truck that hit a house at the corner of Ballard and Shawsheen Street.

Police arrived immediately and secured the scene.  The operator was a 60 year old male from Lowell.  He was immediately taken to Lahey Clinic with non-life threatening injuries. The Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident, and are grateful that no one was seriously injured.

No one in the home was injured.
