She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Guay.
Born on November 26, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Matilda (Sheehan) Babbin.
Pat was born and raised in Newton, MA and graduated from Newton High School.
She moved to Tewksbury in 1954, where she resided until her marriage to Al in 2003. They then moved to Chelmsford and lived there for 10+ years, where she enjoyed her pool and gardening.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a technician by Wang Laboratories in Lowell, MA and her true passion Longs Jewelers in Burlington, MA.
She is survived by her sister, Arlene M. (Babbin) Wright of Tewksbury; nieces, Janine Gropp and her husband George of Nashua, NH, and Doreen Moore and her husband Kevin of Sandown, NH; nephews, Earl Wright of Tewksbury, and James Wright and his wife Carol of Dracut; numerous grandnieces and nephews; her step-daughter, Annemarie (Guay) Amante and her husband Philip of Poquoson, VA; and three step-grandchildren.
Calling hours are Sunday, Jan. 14, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral procession will begin on Monday, Jan. 15, at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. at the Ballardvale United Methodist Church, 23 Clark Rd., Andover. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
