Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In South Tewksbury

On February 22, 2018, at approximately 7:00 P.M., Tewksbury Police Officers responded to the area of 2516 Main St. for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.
Officers arrived on scene, whereupon they located the victim, a 50 year old male, lying on the double solid center line of Main Street (Rt. 38) with serious injuries. The victim received immediate medical attention and was subsequently transported to an area hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries. The sole occupant male driver of the single motor vehicle involved did not exhibit any apparent injuries. Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and Crime Scene Services were summoned to the scene of the accident. This accident is currently under investigation.
