On Friday, April 20 The SilverTones, Tewksbury’s 20piece Big Band made up of professional musicians since its inception over 17 years ago, will present its music for listening and dancing from 7-10 pm at the beautiful Senior Center, located @275 Chandler St. entitled “Swing Into Spring”. Vocalist B.B. Braxten, former director of the The Liberty Belle Chorus, Sweet Adelines; Jim Sutton, our drummer and vocalist for his “Perfect Match Trio”; and Mike Petrishen, Alto sax /clarinetist will serenade us with catchy tunes. 

The new large dance floor is perfect for all the waltzes, jitterbugs, polkas, chachas and other Latin tunes and well as the line dances which are featured in each of the band’s 3 sets. Come join the fun and the cake, coffee/tea served. Bring along your favorite snacks and beverages. Free ice is close by as is a coin soda machine. Admission is $10 per person. There is a 50/50 raffle and door prize of 2 free admissions. Doors open at 6:30. Come meet new people and swing into spring weathe !
