SilverTones Play 'Hawaiian Holiday' In May

On Friday, May 18, 7-10 pm , come to the Tewksbury Senior Center for the SilverTones “3rd Friday”event  called “Hawaiian Holiday “ to dance to great, Big Band music by a professional 20 led by MaryBeth  Foley-Cummings. Listen to vocals by B.B. Braxten, retired long time  leader of the Sweet Adeline’s Liberty Belles.
The Dance is for singles and couples, featuring foxtrot, waltzes, rock, polkas, Latin, jitterbug and line dances in each of the Band’s 3 sets.
Bring along your favorite beverages and snacks. Ice machine is nearby, as well as a soda machine. Cake, coffee/tea are served. There is a 50/50 raffle whose winner last month took away $72! A door prize allows free entry twice for one of the SilverTones Dances. This month, sctratch tickets will be won by lucky patrons who come wearing a floral or Hawaiian shirt/top/blouse. Come join the fun in the beautiful Senior Center, with it’s huge lighted parking lot, handicapped access , and brand new dance floor . It’s also the 10th Anniversary of enlarged/updated Center and the Band’s nearing its 200th performance since it’s formation by Tom MacPerson in 2001.
