 More than 100 young cyclists and their family members gathered at Tewksbury Memorial High School on Sunday for the annual Tewksbury Police Bike Rodeo and Health Fair.
Bike safety and healthy habits were the themes of the event, which was coordinated by Tewksbury Police Safety Officer Jenny Welch.
Among the many volunteers for the event were several Tewksbury students, organized by Rosalyn Impink.
Youngsters had the chance to enjoy free pizza (courtesy of Pizza Mia), snacks and beverages, face painting, games and to test their skills on the bike obstacle course.
Several local businesses and non-profit organizations took part in the event, including:
Children attending the event also had the chance to register in the free drawing for a chance to win one of several bikes being given away.
