Senior Center: “Salute to Flag Day,”Final Dance Of The Season!

The SilverTones will present the final dance/concert of the season at The Tewksbury Senior Center before its summer break on Friday, June 15 from 7-10 pm. Called the “Salute to Flag Day”
Admission is $10 per person which will entitle all to enjoy cake and coffee/tea , and ice for their brought-along favorite beverages and snacks. There is also a $1 soda machine available.
Attendees will also have a chance to win scratch tickets if they are wearing red, white and blue. There is also a 50/50 raffle.
Vocalist B.B. Braxten will be accompanied by 20 professional musicians directed by MaryBeth Foley-Cummings of the well-known Leite-Gouveia-Foley-DeFreitas Musical Family of Greater Lowell.
Doors open at 6:30 into the beautifully air conditioned hall from the handicapped accessible, well-lighted parking lot. Each evening ends with a grand circle and “God Bless America” sing-along to which most guests have been enthusiastically participating.
Come join in the Flag Day celebration and hear our own Tewksbury BIG Band play for listening and dancing to waltzes, Jazz, Latin, jitterbug, polkas, and even a line dance in each of it’s 3 sets. Remember , it’s the last “3rd Friday” dance until Sept. 21st. Join in the fun. Meet new friends. Get exercise while being entertained.
The Senior Center is located at 275 Chandler St. Tewksbury near the State Hospital grounds and Little League Fields, less than 2 miles from both Rts. 495 and 93
