(Editor's Note: the following information was provided by the Tewksbury Public Library.)

#1) SUMMER HOURS: The library is now operating on its summer schedule, which means it is CLOSED on Saturdays and Sundays. The library's weekend hours return on September 8-9.

#2) CONGRATS MISS NOELLE: We’re pleased to announce that Noelle Boc has become our new Assistant Director! (The position has been vacant since the 2005 budget cuts.) Noelle will continue to work in the Children's Department until the fall, when her replacement will be hired. Noelle has been with the Tewksbury Library for the past 17 years as our Children's Librarian. We look forward to seeing her excel in this new role.

#3) CHILDREN SUMMER READING PROGRAM: The library’s Summer Reading Club is for kids entering preschool through entering 5th grade. Track your time spent reading to earn different levels of beads to add to your Reading Brag Chain! Every hour of reading earns a raffle ticket towards 40 different prizes that will be drawn in August at our Summer Reading Party. All participants will earn a prize no matter how much they read.

#4) TEEN SUMMER READING PROGRAM: The library’s Teen Summer Reading Challenge is for students entering grades 6 to 12. Create playlists of different challenge activities to earn raffle tickets and win prizes, including an iPad, ukulele, and $50 movie gift card.

#5) ADULT SUMMER READING PROGRAM:  The library’s Adult Summer Reading Raffle is for ages 18 and up. Simply write down the title of a book you’ve recently read to enter the weekly raffle. This summer’s prizes feature gift cards from area restaurants. Raffle entry forms can be found at the Front Desk. Each week’s will be drawn on Monday morning and contacted via phone.
