Tewksbury Police Arrest Two On Cocaine Charges

 (Editor's note: The following information was released by the Tewksbury Police Department. Arrests do not necessarily indicate guilt.)

On July 4, 2018 the Tewksbury Police Department arrested the following individuals:

Felipe Fernandes, 34, of 18 Yorkshire Dr., Tewksbury for distribution of a Class B substance (cocaine), subsequent offense.  

Samross Chhim, 34, of 10 W. 9th St., Lowell for possession of a Class B substance (cocaine).  

Detectives conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing suspicious activity in the Wal-Mart parking lot.  When they conducted an investigation it revealed that a drug transaction had occurred.  Evidence was recovered and both the individuals were taken into custody without further incident.    

The aforementioned individuals were due to be arraigned at Lowell District Court on July 5, 2018.
