Tewksbury Student Selected To Play In 2018 Maverik National Lacrosse ClassicJul 17, 2018 06:40PM ● By Theresa Gilman

Olivia DeLonais, a rising Junior at Central Catholic High School and resident of Tewksbury, Massachusetts was selected as a 2018 National High School Lacrosse All-American and will participate in the 2018 Maverik National Lacrosse Classic being held this week on July 16-19, 2018 in Frederica, Delaware at the DE Turf Sports Complex.
The Maverik National Lacrosse Classic is the first-of-its-kind lacrosse experience created to provide lacrosse athletes with a competitive process to benchmark their skills and athleticism, qualify for selection to represent their State in a national tournament and gain recognition by competing in front of NCAA lacrosse coaches from every division.
Olivia who started playing lacrosse in 4th grade where she played on her town youth team the Tewksbury Redmen till the 8th grade. She had her first club experience with the N.E. Twisters out of Wilmington, Massachusetts where she played for two years before she transitioned over to the Middlesex Bears out of Newburyport so she could join her fellow High School teammates during the summer. Just as important as playing lacrosse, Olivia is working at excelling in the classroom at Central Catholic.
