 North Andover Columbus Day Tournament

Tewksbury BU12-1 Terrors won the D1 Championship outscoring their opponents over four games by a combined 18-1. Goalies Adam Diciaccio, Aayush Ranjit, and Mason Veits were stellar on the back end and on the field. On a weekend when almost every player scored, Alex Almeida and Will Fillmore stood out with their relentless effort and scoring. Salvatore Catanzano was everywhere consistently beating the competition to the ball and hemming them in their own end. Bryce Pare and Kevin Andriolo were also dominant in the midfield. Pouring pressure on the opposing goalies were a combination of Logan Barnes, Collin Durkin, and Aayush Ranjit. This team has really come together in a short time and defenders Luke Nazzaro and Sean Callahan are great examples of that as their layering and team work was very impressive.

Tewksbury GU14-2 2 vs. Melrose 0

Riley Veits followed her 1st half tally with another late strike in the second half to record the brace and send Tewksbury home victorious in a tightly contested match. Melrose was committed to defending and patiently waiting for the counter. Tewksbury was around the goal the goal all afternoon only to see quality scoring opportunities by Rhiannon Anderson, Alana Price, Skylar Auth, Madeline Anderson and Makayla Melanson turned away by the Melrose goalkeeper or the woodwork. Tewksbury goalkeeper Christa Giansiracusa handled all that came her away to record the second Tewksbury clean sheet in as many weeks.
