Tewksbury Police Nab Lawrence Man For Trafficking Heroin, Vandalizing TPD Cell

(Editor's note: The following information was released by the Tewksbury Police Department.)

On Nov. 2, 2018 the Tewksbury Police Department arrested Stuard Hernandez, 21, of 624 Howard Street Apt. #1, Lawrence for trafficking heroin, over 18 grams and vandalizing property. 

Detectives conducted an investigation into a drug trafficker after responding to a non-fatal overdose.  They were able to locate and identify Hernandez at the Town Place Suites while he was there attempting to deliver heroin.  Detectives encountered Hernandez and were able to locate 23 grams of heroin.  He was arrested without incident. 

While at the Police Station, Hernandez intentionally broke a sprinkler head inside the cell and caused water damage. He was charged accordingly.     

Hernandez was arraigned at Lowell District Court on Monday.
