24-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured In Andover Street Crash

 A 24-year-old woman is in stable condition at a Boston Hospital, following an overnight car crash on Andover Street.
According to Tewksbury Police, the crash, which appeared to have involved just one vehicle, occurred around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, near Frasier Lane.
The victim was driving a grey 2015 Toyota Yaris. According to a resident of the neighborhood, it appeared the vehicle crossed the yellow lines, left the road, was elevated by the curb and struck a tree, head-on.
According to police, it appears the victim was ejected from the vehicle. A witness reported that a Good Samaritan stopped and stayed with the victim until medical crews arrived.
The victim was transported to Lowell General Hospital before being MedFlighted to Brighan and Women's Hospital in Boston.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
