Tewksbury High Cheerleaders Cap Fall Season With Strong Showing At States

The Redmen posted an excellent score of 180.40. To qualify for the States, Tewksbury had placed 4th at the North Regionals with a score of 178.6.
Shawsheen Tech turned in a solid effort at the States, placing 10th with a score of 179.0 To qualify for the States, the Rams had placed 5th at the North Regionals with a 173.5
Meanwhile, the Dracut High School cheerleading team continued its unprecedented streak of dominance, claiming its 13th Division 3 Fall State Championship.
The Middies didn't just dominate the Division 3 field. Their score of 215.0 was the highest score of any team in any division at the States.
Franklin High won the D-1 title with 202.40. Whitman-Hanson was tops in D-2 with 198.70. Rockland won D-4 with 203.10. Wachusett Regional won Co-Ed Large with 201.10. Hudson won Co-Ed Small with 180.10.
Fairhaven placed second to Dracut, among the 13 teams in Division 3, with the second best overall score of the day (203.90). Wilmington placed 5th with 189.30, Tewksbury was 9th with 180.40 and Shawsheen Tech was 10th with 179.0.
